Update!!
I have put up some choice pictures I've obtained from my round on the 'net at my main website, http://bi-boy.net/ as well as have obtained a good chunk of video from the Auction! If you are interestd in getting the video catch me on AIM or MSN (I think AIM is better as I have better transfer speeds on it) between 8pm and midnight PST and I can send it to you from work. Or I can probably mail out a copy of the CD as well.

AIM: Air and Heart

Whew where to begin, what a wonderful wonderful weekend. Why can't the con be until Monday, honestly? hehe

So yes, to begin, I rode down with Alyssa (panzergeneral), Mike (mikedubya), and Elisia (arkyven). We didn't get out of Chico in town like I was hoping, mostly because Alyssa and myself slept in about an hour late. So all throughout the trip I kept worrying we weren't going to make it by 3pm, when I thought I had my first volunteer desk shift. But about the ride itself it was a lot of fun, the close proximity of our beings in the car granted for our goofyness to reverberate and feed off one another's causing Mike to make comments about nut butter and me topping him off. He stroked my thigh too while on one of the various bridges in the Bay Area. I listened to some music but mostly the trip consisted of making each other laugh. Until we got into the city where it took about 10 minutes of circling to finally the car valeted.

And thus the con began, and I found out that I infact wasn't working until 5pm, score! Firstly I showered after the car ride, mostly so I could be the freshest cleanest bishounen I could be, and got into my school boy Shinji costume. I saw Charles and Bill (billradish) which was lovely cos I generally only get to see them at the con. I bounced and ran around a little before settling at the desk for a few hours.

But on the whole Friday was rather uneventful, but it was still lots of fun. A lot of people (ie, greater than 1) wanted to hug me or take a picture with me as Shinji so I thought that was real cool. In the evening I hanged out with Leo (leolz), Autumn (shuu_aki), and their friend Tony. He was pretty cool, real nice and stuff and let me yammer my mouth. We drank some, smoked some, and watched cartoons and anime on my laptop until I crashed out.

Which bleeds into Saturday, where I missed 2 hours of my morning volunteer shifts. If I volunteer next year I am definetely not doing any volunteer work before noon. So the day was mostly spent volunteering, I had some freetime to eat though so that was nice and check out the gaming room.
I enjoyed the gaming room but just really wished one year we could get a hold of real arcade machines. I played DDR Extreme for PS2 and Para Para.
Thank you Zoe!! Rose's roommate finished the jacket Jessica (noelle_du_jour) had so lovingly started and Zoe finished, I can not thank you enough for that Zoe, it was uberawesome.
Also between shifts was the Auction rehearsal where I decided to do a Para Para dance, I was kind of afraid the Auction peoples weren't going to dig it but I would soundly be proven wrong later that evening.
When it came to the Auction, we were all hearded into a closet like such bishounen meat (heh) before being unleashed. We paraded around to "it's raining men" and when it was my turn to go up on stage I heard a giant, "Aw~~~~~~!", it was rather cute. I was 8th out of 20 to be auctioned. I bid on the first guy who had done a little strip routine dressed as Dilandau from Escaflowne (bleh, on the series, not the guy), I stood up and shouted, "20!" to much amusement by the crowd, thankfully other people bested me in bids cos I actually had no money and wanted to help set more mood for the night. The bids were going rather high I felt, $70, $80, and I wasn't sure how much I was going to get. Then it was my turn, per my request to the awesome awesome woman Isis whom I'd remembered from the past 2 cons and befriended in '01, she said as I came up something to the effect of, "And here comes Kamui, his mommy died in a fire." And there were more "Aww~~~~!"'s from the audience. Wearing the pants, socks, shoes, no shirt, and coat I went up and tried my best to glare at the audience cos Kamui is a cold angtsy little bitch. Firstly from behind each of my shoulders, then down the center of the room facing forward. Then I looked to the DJ, noted and "ANNIVERSARY" from Para Para Paradise cued up. For those familiar with the game/song, I think it has to be one of the "happiest" songs there is. It was great, people were laughing and wooing and there was tons of commotion. And then the song was done and the bidding began! And the coat came off, and the pants undone, and ... we'll just say I ended out with a lot less on then what I went up wearing. I also did my para para dance again, wearing less as said hehe. Oh! And when I did my initial dance the Neo who was waiting in the auction wings started doing it also, that was a boost I'm sure. When all was said in done I was won by the lovely Squall (ankoku_jin) for a whopping $250! Definetely a step up from last years $100. I was very very contented. Throughout the other auctions I found myself strutting up to hug, kiss, and molest the other bishounen who were being auctioned, as well as participate in some very fun bishounen piles hehe.
And thus ended the auction and waiting for the dance.

The dance was a lot of fun, I was accosted by Susan the con Chairperson to hand out beads as I did, and I danced with many people, as well as two girls from my Japanese class who I discovered on Friday had attended the con! Fun dance and fun night.

Sunday was quite chill, I re-adopted the Kamui jacket and made it only .5 hours late to work. The day was spent having picture taken, working, some games room and then I decided to go to Closing Ceremonies, I hanged out with a real neat person I had met the night previous and was hanging out with most of Sunday, as well as super awesome Kouri (jia_yan).

Then the con was over, I remember thinking how sad the hotel was going to be without all the people wandering around, random fangirl screaming, etc etc but it was still somewhat populated even at that point! So I got to savour the con feeling if only for a few more hours.
Mike and Alyssa went to eat in the hotel while I went to the after-con Staff party.
Eh heh heh heh... I'll just say it was lots of fun, and at one point I was "The King of No Pants" and that wasn't the only thing I was king of. =D
